News from the Ranch

The dinner for our prospective advisory board was a great success!! We had 48 people who attended to hear more about King's Ranch and consider joining us as advisory board members! God definitely was there and the holy spirit empowered Eddie and I to give our testimonies and share the vision He has given us for King's Ranch! Speaking in front of people is one of my greatest fears and as it turns out, running King's Ranch is going to require a lot of that. Once again, God reminds me that when I am weak, He is strong! Please pray for those who are still deciding about joining the board.

Eddie met with the city planner a week or so ago. They have found a cost effective way for us to proceed with building our first house. Just as we were preparing to submit our application to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, a house came up for sale that adjoins our property. Please pray that if this is God's leading that we could agree on a reasonable price. We need God to light the path for us in this matter- build or buy? We will let you know more details as this situation progresses.

Rummage Sale is next weekend. We are still taking donated pre-priced items up until Wednesday. You can drop it off at 1005 Rossland Drive. We also would love to have any volunteers to help take money, set up merchandise, etc.

We can't express to you how your encouragement and support helps us keep pressing on even in the face of opposition. Thank you so much!

All for the King,

Eddie and Lee

God was awesome through you last night! Thank you for letting Him use you for his glory. What an exciting adventure it is as we wait to see what unfolds next!

Praying daily for God to bless those who will soon be calling King's Ranch their home--and for those who are making it happen,

Love,
Mary-Margaret and Jay

P.S. What cute kids there are on your website! Bless those sweet Cooper kiddos who are opening up their home and their lives to reach out to other sweet kiddos. You are all amazing. Keep up the good work!
