News from the Ranch

The jam sale was a success! We raised almost $400.00 and still have more jam left to sell! The kids loved getting to participate in helping raise money for King's Ranch! We gave out our brochure and fact sheet to all who donated or purchased the jam, and all were very interested in knowing about the ranch! Thanks for praying! We will schedule another jam sale soon.

This Thursday we have a meeting with the city planner to discuss the construction of our lst home. We need to have a sewer, water, electric, and road plan in place BEFORE we go back to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission Meeting. Please pray that we will find favor in the eyes of city officials, and that they would desire to help us cost effectively make King's Ranch a reality. We want to be good stewards of the resources God has blessed us with!

We are still working toward our rummage sale on October 19th and 20th. Board members, Shannon and Jeff Puryear, have graciously offered to organize and host this event at their home. A big thank you to them! We have also submitted a letter to Chick-fil-A asking them to help underwrite the travel expenses, facility costs, etc. of our Phillips, Craig, and Dean benefit concert. We hope to hear from them soon!

Finally, we will have a chili supper on October 11th at our home for our prospective advisory board members. Please pray that God would lead each person to know his will in this matter and that he would put the people he desires on the board.

Thank all of you for your encouragement, support, and most of all, for your prayers!

"On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." 2 Corinthians 1:10-11

All for the King,

Eddie and Lee
